ATOMS AND MOLECULES
Atoms are the smallest units of matter which are comprised of elements. These atoms can come together to form new molecules through bonding. In this blog, we will use a 3-D modelling kit to make structures to represent molecules such as: Carbon Dioxide, Boron Trifluoride, Carbon Tetrafluoride, Phosphorus Pentafluoride and Sulphur Hexafluoride, in order to demonstrate the 5 basic shapes that molecules can take.
